Tonnellerie Billon is located in Burgundy. Manager Vincent Damy oversees the cooperage, one stave mill, and 22 workers. In 2007 Billon crafted over 12,000 barrels, very near their total capacity of production. |
Tonnellerie Cadus located in Ladoix-Serrigny just north of Beaune, is managed by François "Paquito" Barbier. In 2007 Cadus fabricated over 17,000 barrels and sold out before the end of the season. We expect them to sell out even earlier in 2008. |
Tonnellerie Damy is a third generation cooperage in Meursault, managed by Jerome Damy. Hand-crafting over 20,000 barrels last year, Damy is expected to reach the limits of its production capacity in 2008. |
Vicard Tonnelleries is a sixth generation cooperage located in Cognac. They produce high quality French and Eastern European oak barrels as well as premium American oak barrels made from oak sourced exclusively in Missouri. The Missouri oak is aged in Cognac (where the micro-climate is better suited to air-dried seasoning) then fabricated and toasted before shipment. Vicard oversees three stave mills and produced over 60,000 barrels in 2007. |
Laglasse is a family-owned business that produces premium barrel alternatives for use in stainless steel tanks and neutral barrels. They also have a long-standing relationship supplying staves to two of our coopers, Billon and Damy. |
One year warranty on all oak barrels.
